Charming Past. Treasured Community Today.

The Yarmouth Camp Ground is located in western Yarmouth and eastern Barnstable. The site was originally chosen in 1862, partially due to its proximity to the Yarmouth Depot, a train station just 1 mile away. You can still ‘ride the rails’ more than 150 years later. A charming network of tiny roads crisscrosses the property,  surrounded by deep forest and local ponds where wildlife abounds. Cottages are primarily Gothic style, many with church windows and gingerbread trim, reflecting the deep heritage that is still treasured by owners today.  There's even a place to formally leave your 'worries' behind.
